Hi everyone! Just curious, for the purpose of watching videos, if anyone prefers one platform over the other?
Every so often, Sony will come out with some kicka$$ product like the Walkman, and the CD player, but then stumble with something like the Betamax, or they’ll discontinue a great concept like the Clie’. Right now, the older Playstation and PS2 are definitely winners. The PSP is an intriguing device, a multi-capable platform for playing movies, audio, and games. It is, however, still a new product, and I’m not sure if the public is taking to it like the iPod products.
The iPod is a definite hit, and now the video iPod is capable of playing back tv programs like “24” for about 2 bucks an episode. Not sure if it will play movies, but…
In terms of cost, ease of use and viewability, now that both products are available, what you prefer to carry with you on a long distance train, or airplane ride?
