KeymasterSo this morning I pulled the trigger on the Paramilitary2!
It is such a beautiful knife and I am sure that it will serve me well :D.
Next up dragonfly 2 to replace my ambitious :p.

That was fast. Did you bought this from a store? Mine was just shipped to me. I’ll get it next week hopefully. There’s a downside to live in a country where you can’t buy a decent knife. There’s one store that sells Tenacious for the price of Paramilitary 2 and paramilitary 2 for the price of Sebenza.Sent from my LG-D855

Well look like its time to start saving up. First a paramilitary 2 and than a dragonfly. Thanks for the advice guys
Not to diss the PM2 in any way (it is an excellent knife by pretty much any measure), but I carry my Dragonfly everywhere every day. I pretty much only carry my PM2 a couple days a month. Depending on your needs (and wants) I’d consider prioritizing the Dragonfly. For me, at least, it is truly essential every day carry! 🙂Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk… typos are guaranteed!

It was a bit unexpected because the only store in my city/country just restocked so I just instantaneously went there first thing in the morning :D.
Well I don’t where you are but I am sure that you have better stores than my country (Croatia,EU). I payed 170$ for it so it is a lot, thank the gods not Sebenza money thou.Hope you get yours soon. PM2 is as good as people say it is. Let us now how you like yours when it arrives 😉

I just had to have a PM2 in the rotation. Today I had the dragonfly in hand for the first time and it is much smaller and more compact than my ambitious.
I like that a lot! It is first on the list once I financially recover from PM2 :rofl:December 13, 2025 at 6:49 am #130343admin

$170 is a bit steep. Ive bought mine from eBay for 120. But be careful. As I’ve learned from my experience Spyderco quality can be addictive. Next thing you know you’ll be buying Techno’s and Domino’s….Sent from my LG-D855

Is that $US? Here in Australia a PM2 will set you back $200-280 (US$155-218). You run the gauntlet trying to import as customs love confiscating Spydies! 🙁December 13, 2025 at 6:50 am #130345admin
KeymasterMy new PM2 I just got for my birthday! Love it!

It is a bit steep but I don’t mind paying a bit extra to support local store. I agree with you that spydercos have a certain charm about them :giggle:.Unagi42 said: ↑

Yes it is in US$. Our custom don’t confiscate knives that easy but they charge a lot for import taxes and whatnot plus I hate thinking about who is playing with my knife upon “inspection”. :furious:December 13, 2025 at 6:50 am #130348admin
