I have a meadowlark and quite like it, it fits well in the hand and really doesn’t feel any different from say the dragonfly, just biggerDecember 13, 2025 at 7:10 am #130420admin

Thanks is the quality different from a spyderco because it’s way cheaper but i still like it as a edc knife i also like that the pocket clip can be set tip up and tip down because i carry my knives tip up it’s just nice to have the option.December 13, 2025 at 7:10 am #130421admin
KeymasterI haven’t noticed any difference at all in quality

I don’t have Meadowlark or the Flight, but I do have the Tern. The fit and finish on mine is top notch. The biggest difference between the Byrds and the true Spyderco knives is, for he most part, quality and type of materials and blade steels. I’ve got to say, though, that byrd’s 8cr13mov is well above average. Better quality control and heat treat, I would guess.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk… Typos guaranteed!

Huh! was just gonna say that the only Byrd I’ve had, the Robin, lacks a bit in fit and finish but is otherwise a really solid knife. From that experience Id much prefer using my Spydies. That said, they seem really solid and I’d recommend them.
