So I received my Paramilitary 2 about a week ago and opening the blade seems a bit rough. When I first got it, it was smooth as butter. It seems like there is no lubrication anymore. Is that possible for it to wear out that fast?

You might try cleaning it in hot soapy water, dry real good with compressed air or hair dryer then relube,

Mine was the same way. You can try what farnorthdan sad or just try to add a drop or two of oil in the pivot and see if that helps.
My pm2 does not swing free when I depress the lock but I heard that pm2 take some time to brake in.

Yes there was and pretty much only a bike seat.
We’ve been without power since Saturday morning till this morning and still no real internet connection.

I love my PM2. It’s my first and only Spyderco but it won’t be my last.

I’ll probably put a deep carry clip on it soon.

I actually think I might have saved the original picture he posted because I zoomed in on the picture looking for some secret hiding place for the ‘infamous’ purple knife he mentioned. Will let you know if I find it.
