KeymasterThis is an old jester I left in my dresser draw for 10 years and forgot about. Years ago I placed a big order directly with Spyderco and whom ever filled the order tossed this little gem in as a courtesy. Didn’t think much of it at the time, but turns out over time it has become somewhat unique as far as jesters go.

I love it. The jimping all in the front seems very functional for detailed work during carving.December 13, 2025 at 7:29 am #130513admin

The jimping up front is definately a nice touch. It is a small knife on par with the ladybug/manbug.December 13, 2025 at 7:29 am #130515admin

Jester’s were plain blade IIRC. Lovely little knife, seldom seen these days.Transmitted by Droid using Crapatalk

I have a couple of the Jesters and you are correct Mister hal_chase they are plain looking steel but for some reason his blade looks coated.Carl

I really like this knife. Cuts like a laser and the ergos are really nice. It’s one of the only Spyderco knives that I like, with the ladybugDecember 13, 2025 at 7:29 am #130519admin

Agreed, I got mine from here as well. Definitely a little big knife in my opinion.December 13, 2025 at 7:31 am #130521admin
KeymasterThe Jester is one of my all time favorite Spydercos. I wish I didn’t abuse and give away the one I had years ago, and wish I had bought more when they were readily available. Now they are too expensive for me to buy and use. Hey Glessers! How about a Kiwi4 kinda makeover to the Jester? Bump it up in size just enough to put the Dflys wire clip on it! Please!!!

No blade coating just bad lighting and sub par photography skills -
