I’m generally a fan of smaller knives, notably the Dragonfly. However, your three PM’s are inspiring. I’ve never really liked the two Delicas I have. I have a feeling a PM like one of yours could change my mind about larger knives.

Can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with a PM2Funny, I think of them as smaller or mid-sized. The Domino as well.
When I consider larger knives I think of Manix 2 XL and K2

I’m sure I’ll enjoy the PM2 when I eventually get one. 🙂On a related note, I love black blades with non-black handles. The two Delicas I have are a standard Orange and a Blacked out one (with serrated blade). I’ve been meaning to rebuild them into an Orange Delica with Black Blade, and a standard black-handled Delica that I could dispose of. Just haven’t had the time to sit down and figure out how to take them apart and put them back together.
So, please tell us, coprtoppe: How did you assemble your two PM2’s with black blades and color G10 handles? Did you build them yourself by taking apart and re-assembling off-the-shelf PM2’s? (I did a search and there seems to have been at least one Brown G10-handled Sprint Run.) Or are both the green and brown G10 scales custom made? If so, what is your source? I found some custom PM2 scales on flea-bay, but they are 80 bucks. 😮

I intentionally referred to the PM2 as “larger” (relative to Dragonfly), not “large.” I’d say Dragonfly is small; Domino is a bit larger but still small; Delica, PM2, and Manix are medium size; and Manix 2 XL is large. But all of these sizes are relative and somewhat subjective. In the end, what matters most is how a knife fits in your own hand and serves your intended purpose.

The brown G10 is from the S35VN sprint run and the ‘sage’ G10 is from the Elmax sprint run, so they are both Spydie factory sets.I just got a notification from Halpern Ti that my Mule scales are on the way. I ordered the Flat Brown Micarta scales. Should have them in 2 days. Now I am going to order a sheath from Sheath Pro.
Hey PM2 owners, got a query.
I have had my PM2 for less than 48hrs and I have always been a tip up carry kind of guy but this thing feels like it wants to be tip down.
Hard to explain but every time I pull it from my pocket I automatically try to open it tip down style.
I suspect I might have a muscle memory from a similar feeling Spyderco from a long time ago.Does anyone else find the PM2 feels like it wants to be tip down?
