I got a chance to handle this thing today. It’s absolutely fantastic. It’s gorgeous, feels really great in-hand, and I think it’s probably the best flipper I’ve ever used. I had the PM2 S110v on the list next but this thing… It’s messing with me. It’s really, really good.
FYI it did end up in S30v, which I imagine was a cost-saving measure to compensate for the machined CF handles. Speaking of the handles, they’re just so pretty, smooth to the touch, and the rounded feel makes the knife great to hold.
If I had one complaint at all: the liner lock is a little hard to access, because the knife is very small and slender. It’s not nearly a deal-breaker though. Lockup is very good otherwise, as is the overall fit and finish which I’d expect from a Taichung knife.
Man I want this thing. Man I need lots of Xmas money for knives this year…
