Streamlight sidewinder Batteries/mods question.

So, i recently aquired a streamlight sidewinder, and am generally pleased with form and function. However, i was wondering if i could put in 14400 cells, the 3.6-4.7 volt lithium rechargable type. Would i just fry the circuits and melt my new toy, or will it become my new favorite toy? Second question… what sort of mods can be performed on this light? Thanks for the info… :ty:
