Suggestions wanted for FP for kids

I recently ordered a sample of Black Swan in Australian Rose. As I was cleaning up and filling up some pens to try it out, my little one comes over to watch and starts up the conversation…

Kid: Are those your special pens?
Me: Yes
Kid: You have to write carefully so you don’t break the tips?
Me: Um yes(little bewildered due to the level of observance since I don’t talk about the pens). It not so much they break, but the tip or the nib will bend and then it won’t write as well.
kid: Oooooh.

The little one was glued the entire time over the entire cleaning and ink filling process. More so at the different color of inks that were available. Then the topic came up of trying out the pens. It was getting close to bed time due to a school night, but mentioned that later in the week when there is more time, we will both sit down and try writing with a pen.

So that said, any good recommendations for FP for kids. The little one is 7. Any particular ones you tried?
