Trying to decide on which light to purchase as my first EDC light. I have checked out the reviews here and on Candlepowerforums and both of these lights seems to be very capable.
I plan to carry the light clipped inside my pocket and would use it for minor repair tasks at night, scanning the yard for animals or intruders, and hiking/camping/geocaching.
The V11r provides up to 500 lumens and has the ability to use both an AA and a CR123A battery.
The D25a Clicky uses a single AA battery and does not have as high an output level but seems to have longer run times. It is a little more compact than the Sunwayman.
Price difference really isn’t that big of an issue.
Which one of these lights would you rather have in a survival situation or during a prolonged power outage?
