Surefire EB1 VS EB2? Which one is for me?

So long story short I have the E1L-A I absolutely love this light. It is great for 80% for what I use it for. However there are times I need something to throw further. I picked up an G2XLE to hopefully fill the gap but as I have learned throwing is not it’s primary purpose as it is much flooding than I expected. I’m wondering if I should keep the small 1xcr123 form factor so I can easily keep it in edc rotation or if I should go for the EB2 for the more lumens and larger size.

Does anyone edc the EB2 and do you find it too large ?
