KeymasterSo I am about to start the end of my Summer ritual where I fly out and pick up cars and bring them all home.
It has always really irked me that I can not really take along a knife or any tool with a knife unless I check a bag and I do not want to check a bag!So I finally broke down and grabbed a Style PS this Morning as the tiny pliers intrigue me.
They are not too bad it turns out and the cutters even work decently as long as I go easy on them but what really surprised me was the scissors. Now don’t get me wrong I find scissors useless in general and have never really had a need to carry them in my pocket. Further the micro sized scissors on the PS are so small I am not sure what I would try to cut with them, but………
It turns out that the Leatherman Bit Extender fits over the closed scissors as though they were designed for each other! I have no plans to bear down or take a tractor apart with the bits driven by the scissors but the whole thing works well enough to make it worth sharing here I think. I was amazed as I started looking for things to screw and my favorite so far was a clients annoying and ever loosening office door knob which I was able to easily reach and tighten with this set.
So I can carry the PS and a bit extender kit card and have many tools I might need with me and still no blade which will keep the tools off the plane!
I am excited how useful this has turned out and now my mission seems to be determining how much those baby scissors can endure before breaking off the tool!
Oh and I can cut things too if I can find anything that small to cut?Maybe its not much but I am EZ after all.
