Been eyeing TAD gear for several years now and always just balked at the cost, but recently gave in and I just bought a praetorian hoodie from TAD…
By all accounts, I SHOULD take a medium and thats what I bought, I am 5’9, 190 lbs, size 39 inch chest and 33 inch waist.
This thing fits pretty
snug…with a tshirt or thin (and I mean thin) base layer it works ok, but with anything else (such as long sleeve button down shirt), its pretty tight.
I think I can make it work, as I am in the process of losing weight (goal is to shed another 10-15 lbs), but I am thinking I should have gotten a large, but than I’d be worried there would be too much material in the front…
I guess my question is are things with the active fit designed by TAD to be only worn over a thin baselayer or something?
What about the Ranger Hoodie? Is that cut more generously to allow for layering?
