I purchased this backpack from the Tasmanian Tiger for 1-3 day hiking trips. It replaces my 5.11 Rush 24 which I was never really happy about. The carrier system did not work right for me missing a hip belt. This backpack is 37 L.( 2300cm3) About same size as Rush 24 but it feels bigger. Will also work as a travel backpack for short trips or as carry-on.

The backpack is a “panel loader” with 2 large rooms that are easy to pack in.

I am very pleased with this backpack. Very comfortable to wear and offers a lot of room and have a narrow and and not too deep design.

Tasmanian Tiger is the tactical / military part of the company Tatonka that makes quality bag packs for civilian use. It is made of Cordura 700.

This is what I bring on a 1 day hiking with wife and 2 kids. Without the food of course but there is plenty of room for that.
