    Hi all!

Now that we have gone far enough down this road, I wanted to start a thread to announce the planned campaign release of the titanium Pixel, scheduled for mid-June. I have made mention of this in the sneak peek thread, but wanted to break it out into its own thread to make it easier to follow. What I would like to do is track the progress of the campaign up to the release, then keep everyone updated during and after the campaign (assuming it is successful…). So let’s start with a few preliminary images and details:

The titanium version is identical in size to the stainless steel version, with the exception of the tail being 4mm longer. This is to accommodate the mounting of a 3mm x 11mm tritium vial (customer supplied). A few specifics:

    • Material: 6Al-4V titanium
    • Finish: Tumbled to a uniform stonewashed finish, OR splash anodized in your choice of 5 unique styles
    • Dimensions: 8mm [.315″] square x 47mm [1.85″] long
    • Water resistant o-ring seal
    • Twist ON/OFF
    • LED: Nichia premium 5mm LED, cool white (25 lumens) or warm white (21 lumens)
    • Beam: Smooth, flood beam pattern, 35 degree angle
    • Batteries: includes four LR521/379A alkaline watch batteries, we will also include 4 extra sets of batteries for the campaign
    • Total assembled weight with batteries: 0.26 ounces [7.4 grams].
    • Smaller and lighter than a standard house key

We have a rough outline of the rewards we will be offering, but they are not solidified as of yet. But most likely the splash anodized ones will be a limited edition, and it will be first-come, first-served.

We’ll keep you updated on the progress in this thread, and if you have any questions, feel free to post ’em here!
