Hi Everyone
Although I’m sorta happy with my current pen collection, I’d like to wade into the deeper water of fountain pens. I’ve never owned one, but I do recall owning a cartridge pen as a kid, and I guess that’s quite similar.
Would anyone have any recommendations for a first FP? I’m thinking about a $40 price range. My only requirement is that the pen not look overly ornate and formal. Finally, what about ink? I prefer black. Is there any reason, besides personal preference, to use blue ink? I’d like to learn more about that too.
