i like fountain pens, but i have been staying away from them for last.. 30 yrs? had few back when i was in school… more like when was 11-12. it has that.. cool factor and all. but it was hard to maintain. the ink dries up, the nib doesn’t work well.. endless frustration. so i never really looked back.
i have been hunting for edc pen. not fountain pen. titanium batons that will write basically. then i noticed few threads regarding fountain pens on the forum.
looking into them, they are not very expensive, and from what i’m reading, they are easy to work with and writes great.
lamy, twisbi, jinhao… list seems to go on an on..
so what exactly is involved in taking care of fountain pen? i’m sure they are not like ball point pen that you just use and forget about till next time you need them.
