After a disastrous outing with a new M&P9, my confidence in my shooting abilities was at a record low. I thought to myself that it was time to give Glocks another try. I owned a Glock 22 many years ago, but quickly sold it because I didn’t care for the caliber. I figured, why not give them another try. Couldn’t be any worse than the M&P9.

So, I went through the safe, found a rifle that was collecting dust, and listed it on a couple of gun forms. Two days ago, I traded a nice guy for a Glock 19 that looked like it had barely been fired.

I took it home and although it was exceptionally clean, I stripped it down as far as I could and cleaned it again ( gun sanitation and cleanliness is a sickness with me).

Took it to the range today, and my faith in my shooting abilities was restored. It’s not a match-grade pistol, but it’s very accurate even with the cheap factory sights. Shot 250 mixed rounds of ammo through it and the Glock digested everything with gusto. I even like the trigger more than the M&P9.

    I think this one is a keeper….
