The Wilderness Instructor belt

I’m hoping some of you wear The Wilderness Instructor belt and can help me out with this. First let me say the I pretty much always wear my shirt untucked because it’s more comfortable and also to conceal something that I almost always carry on my belt.
That being said the other day I noticed a small stain on the belt in the back. Last night I sprayed it with some pre-wash then rinsed it off and let it dry overnight.
This morning I now have a large water stain, it isn’t dark and my shirt does cover it but I was hoping someone could give me some idea’s on how to remove the stain.
Oh yes, this particular belt is the khaki version.
