So I have a Kelty Redtail, that I generally like. One thing I hate though is the bottom. Is has no structure whatsoever. So when I pack it for a hike, everything just sinks to the bottom and weighs down the bag. This isn’t a huge deal if it’s full, I usually stuff a jacket or sweater down there and it’s fine. But if I use it for anything where I don’t fill it is largely uncomfortable. So my question is, can I fix this? I was thinking about taking some cardboard and cutting it to fit the bottom, and then Duct taping it to make it more durable?any other suggestions? I’m looking to do this on the cheap, if it’s a significant amount I would just invest in another bag, but I would rather use what I have. Thanks for the ideas!
