Tom Bihn Pilot impressions

I recently received my first new bag from TB, a black/Iberian Pilot. Yesterday I used it “in anger” for the first time, on a day business trip to Christchurch, New Zealand, the site of a devastating earthquake in 2011. As you can imagine it easily tucks under an airline seat and carried what I needed for the day, including a Surface tablet and keyboard, A4 papers and my usual office EDC (minus blades). The zippers are still a little stiff but that will chnage over time. I chose the standard strap but as I walked/ran 20 minutes from one appointment to the high school where I was due to give a seminar it occurred to me that I should have sprung for the Absolute strap.

Very happy with this purchase so far
