Howdy. I talk a lot, you have been warned. This short story is brought to you by the Anti-Sticker Department of my employer.
So my work-issue toolbox was stripped of stickers last week. Apparently we were having a doubled up audit, pre-OSHA inspection plus maintenance 6σ compliance. Prior to this last inspection we were always encouraged to personalize our toolboxes, as once they’re issued they are ours until we retire.
Guess some douchebag at another plant had all manner of deliberately offensive stickers and wasn’t smart enough to hide them from the VP of Maint when they swept through on inspection. So no one in the organization can have stickers now.
So as a workaround I’m looking for some type of vinyl siding that can be magnetized (epoxy is great) and slapped on the larger panels for sticker displays. Open to other materials, just not familiar with such things and thought someone else may be.
My actual sup’v has no problem with this idea. He didn’t agree with having to strip anyone’s toolbox but has to enforce policy. Said this makes sense and is pretty easy to cover up. Pull off, roll up and drop in bottom drawer of the box!
Cheers for any suggestions.
