I’m a guy who finds himself doing a lot of basic jobs, either for myself or for others and I want to assemble myself a kit that will support doing those varied jobs whilst still being portable. I’m building it with a Maxpedition Beefy in mind and I just can’t find the right tools. Multi-tools are nice but the driver tips are often off centre and they don’t have a sufficent shaft to lift me away from work in tight spaces. You can pick up a lot of little tool kits but they’re either too limited (No Torx or only two sizes of Pozi etc.) or poor quality and they warp and strip in no time.
Or they cost a hundred pounds for a single screwdriver!
So can anyone recommend a good set? What I’d like is a standard handle which can take extensions and can take any tips from #0000 all the way up to PH5 and T1 through T15. If it all comes in a nice compact case as well that’d be awesome.
Other suggestions are also welcome. I’ve got a credit-card sized Multimeter, a nice set of pliers/cutters and some bridge leads.
