All are ~7oz in weight and ~1/3rd liter in volume – which would you choose for EDC to cover as many bases as possible?
– Umbrella: (+) murse/shorts/shoes coverage, sunshade (-) wind, no warmth or insulation value
– W/B Shell: (+) insulation value, can be worn anywhere/any condition (-) murse/shorts/shoes exposed
– Poncho/Tarp: (+) murse/shorts coverage, tarp shelter/ground cloth, limited insulation value (-) dorky looking to wear in public if not actually raining – ie, limited insulation value
.Anyone have any other good suggestions in this ultra-light minimalist category?
