‘ve been a little disappointed and unimpressed from what I’ve seen from the big boys like Maxpedition and 5.11. They just didn’t seem to respond to customer wants…instead they give us what they want us to have.
So I started looking at some of the other guys on the market and ran across US Grunt Gear. To be honest I was a little leary but they have a good rep so I gave them a try. I wanted something low key that was’nt tactical but practical for off body carry of my Glock 26. I was concerned about retention issues so I wanted front carry if possible. That’s when I ran across this! First it doesn’t feel like its made of some type of cardboard but it does feel substantial. 1000 denier. Awesome. They even go so far as to include a holster and it has webbing for spare magazines (3) in the main pocket. See those zipper pulls? Not just for show…they’re included…they even take the time to melt the paracords ends so they won’t unravel.
Highly recommend and pics are coming. I’m quite pleased and the bag came in handy when the hurricane hit and we were running around like chickens with our heads cut off.
