Absolutely worth getting. Company founded by a genuine watch enthusiast, making modern-day technology self-winding mechanical watches. In a unique position within the watch industry. Damasko makes their own cases (something practically unheard of in the industry today). Super tough cases that are not too corrosion resistant. (Only that disadvantage.) Damasko exists thanks to the success of a separate, primary business that functions outside of the watch industry.

My watch isn’t in the same class as some I’ve seen in this thread but I bought this Citizen Titanium World Time Chronograph in Tokyo in 1995 for $400 USD. I bought it because it can tell you what time it is in every time zone in the world. This way I knew when to call my wife. I’ve worn it almost every day since. Now I have a global job where I talk to people all over the globe and I can know what time it is anywhere….
