KeymasterUnsure if most EDCF members are the same but I alter my watch to suit the tasks, the current watches I’m swooping between formal and everyday are my: formal – Swiss made, Dreyfuss & Co Series 1924 model number 665, And my everyday watch – 5.11 Sure Shot Field Op’s Tactical watch. I really like both watches but the Dreyfuss & Co was a lovely gift from my late Grandmother and was very expensive (around £600 or $1000) and is engraved to the rear with her name on, so this post is for my Nanna.

KeymasterI might have to try that. I contacted casio about switching out the buttons. It was a no go. How does the polish hold up?
The polish holds up really well. I had been covering it with a black sharpie, but that would wear off in a day or two. Wish I could take cradit for the idea. I found it online while trying to look for a replacement band for it. Ended up taking the band off my PAG-40 and putting on my PRG-50. BTW, I didn’t know this, but if you put your Casio band in simmering water for about 10 seconds it makes the band much, much softer.December 15, 2025 at 6:30 am #130760admin

KeymasterAnyone here with a Pathfinder/Protrek & a 6″ wrist by any chance?
I went watch-shopping offline yesterday (doesn’t happen very often anymore) to see how big they actually are in the flesh, but as it turns out no one actually sells these in my town. I found some G-Shocks and they still looked ok on my flimsy wrists, but I believe the triple sensor watches are even bigger? I’m willing to look silly for the features it comes with, but it’s got to be doable at least. Anyone here that can share their experience before I order?
I believe that’s a 240 up there with the yellow buttons btw? If so there are at least two versions of it with grey or black buttons, perhaps you could still trade it in?
My wrist is about 6″ and all I wear is a Pathfinder. Either a PAG-40 or my EDC PRG-50. The battery died in my PAG-40 so I haven’t worn it in over a month. I’ve been trying to get the wife to buy me a PAG-240 Titanium, but with furloughs looming I may have to wait. -
