KeymasterI rotate between three Rolex watches (SS Sub date, SS GMT II, and TT Datejust) and an Omega Speedmaster. I have a number of other watches but just enjoy these four the most.

KeymasterA strange watch (presumably Casio’s idea of futuristic), with a fabulous module. I would wear this more if I’d bought the matte black strap version, rather than the glossy one. The LED light (bottom-right) flashes with the alarms. The G-8000 is one of the slimmest G-Shocks.

KeymasterI inherited my dads deep blue day/night diver pro t100 when he passed away two years ago this month, not a day has gone by since then that I haven’t worn it.

KeymasterGetting warm out so I swapped the leather for stainless (and removed a few links) band on my Alpha watch.

KeymasterI really don’t like this thread:p
Most watches have some metal on them that makes my wrist break out in a rash. When I was young I thought watches were the accessory for a gentlemen, but found that I couldn’t wear most of them. I stopped buying them because of this.
Now I wear a Casio Pathfinder, mainly because I took a chance on it. I figured if nothing else I could just wear it in the cool weather, when my arm doesn’t sweat, so I don’t have to deal with the break out. Fortunately for me, the way the band is designed, it keeps the metal off of me, and I’ve only had to paint the buckle with clear nail polish during the hottest months.
But looking at all of these watches makes me jealous. Especially for the classy, vintage, models. So sharp looking.
Thanks for the pics, though. Some awesome watches y’all got there:)

I have this problem too with some jewelery, although I don’t have problems with many watches. Stainless steel usually seems to works for me, although I have a stainless steel ring that I can’t wear for more then a couple of hours too strange enough, and two of my silver rings apparently aren’t of a high enough grade silver too, although I can wear them for a few days before the itch and red bumps appear.
Just curious, but you don’t have problems with the flashlights on your neck? I believe you use a gold Klarus as well as the DD sometimes, right?

The Quantum DD never gave me a problem (S.S.) but the split ring does. The Klarus Mini Midas, though gold plated, still broke me out I had hoped since my wedding ring doesn’t the Klarus wouldn’t, but I was wrong. This is my only neck carry right now:D

The DD hasn’t given me any problems neither, but I usually try to have a layer of clothing between it and my skin because it stays cold for so long (Imma sensitive dude). The Böker Gnome turns out to be very anti-allergic as well btw.Hey cool, we have the same watch except for the color & the atomic part.
Would you be able to explain to me how to properly use the bearing lock feature perhaps? I find it impossible to make sense out of the manual when it comes to this function.

I haven’t needed it. I have a plan to check the manual out again if I ever get to go walkabout:)December 15, 2025 at 7:34 am #131067admin

Haha, yeah, Ive heard that one before. For how long have you had this plan already? [IMG]
If you don’t carry another compass I do recommend to learn how to do a bidirectional calibration at least. Just do it once or twice so you know what to do, and then repeat once a month and you should be good.
Does that crummy Apple machine of yours read .pdf files btw? In that case you can store the manual on your phone or tablet too, although the .pdf version is a bit more limited than the paper version.
