Nah, this is a crappy country with no freedom at all, nothing to see or do here. I’m thinking about heading south, to Portugal or Spain.
But to be honest your southern states have a much more appealing climate, and at least it’s still legal to kill your own food there. It’s probably more fun to do it on your side of the pond 😉

I really don’t know :/ maybe I should look for that first ! Lol
I like it more because with a different strap it would go with more and is more subtle , I really don’t like orange and was drawn to the seiko instantly strangelyDecember 15, 2025 at 7:36 am #131075admin

KeymasterYou think this place has awesome watches (and it does) try hanging out with the Watchuseek peeps. They put us to shame lol
You do realize some of us have dual accounts. 😀Gotten to the point where I spend most of my time on there helping out newbies. There’s a handful of regulars I get along well with. Unfortunately, the site is absolutely infected with trolls, die-hard fan-boys who will hate you for making the slightest criticism of their favorite brand, and otherwise intelligent individuals who have absolutely drunk the marketing Kool-Aid. I had one member I used to respect who asked me, “What part of the word “luxury” don’t you understand?” Well, as I told him, I understand the difference between real luxury over a high price-tag and a marketing campaign where the word “luxury” is simply parroted about. Unfortunately it was clear that he didn’t get the distinction.
Also, had my first two e-stalkers on WUS. Had zero at all of the numerous sites I post on under the same user-name. Had two on WUS. Though one eventually got tired of wasting his time and stopped. Fan-boy for TAG Heuer. Another one only stopped recently when I openly called him out on his obsession with me. Didn’t want to embarrass the guy. And he played it off as though it was all a joke. Which made him look even more foolish. Anyway, I think I’ve got maybe 3 members on my Ignore List on EDCF. I’m pushing about 40 on WUS. No, not a typo.
It’s a good site for a wealth of information about watches. But it’s extremely slowly turning into a cesspool.

KeymasterI really don’t like this thread:p
Most watches have some metal on them that makes my wrist break out in a rash. When I was young I thought watches were the accessory for a gentlemen, but found that I couldn’t wear most of them. I stopped buying them because of this.
Now I wear a Casio Pathfinder, mainly because I took a chance on it. I figured if nothing else I could just wear it in the cool weather, when my arm doesn’t sweat, so I don’t have to deal with the break out. Fortunately for me, the way the band is designed, it keeps the metal off of me, and I’ve only had to paint the buckle with clear nail polish during the hottest months.
But looking at all of these watches makes me jealous. Especially for the classy, vintage, models. So sharp looking.
Thanks for the pics, though. Some awesome watches y’all got there:)
Pocket watches are really classy too, and never touch your wrist! Of course, you heave to have a free hand to view it and, even more importantly around here, an available watch pocket!December 15, 2025 at 8:12 am #131078admin

I had the same problem with the rash for years until I got my ProTrek with the Ti coated band and Ti case back* almost 10 years ago. Since then I’ve also had success with my Ti Citizen.I haven worn my Hamilton enough to find out if I’ll have any trouble with it.
*or so I’ve been told, at least I dont react to it.
