Not how it used to be just a generation ago. Name any watch brand that isn’t a brand new micro brand, you can bet that fakes exist. Buying a fake to see if you’d like it doesn’t work. I used to buy fake Swiss Army knives all the time as a kid. Used to wonder why the real ones are so popular. When I stopped buying the fakes and bought my first real one, then I understood the popularity of the real thing.One of my friend has realized the same.

Sorry for the stock photo, not sure where my camera is. Mine is an older version of this one with a resin (not nylon) strap. I like a plain watch with the day+date showing, back light, WR, and an alarm. I work in IT and I work crazy hours sometimes, I like a day showing (like the Tue below) to remind me what day it is. No sine waves bouncing around, and nothing that looks like a cockpit of a B-1 stealth bomber. I go cheap in case I scrap the hell out of it. I’ve been happy with Armitron and Casio. I also own G shocks.[IMG]
