OT- Glad the speedy pro is working again. If it starts to be finicky, let me know as I have a great repair guy I can recommend without sending the watch to the AD Omega repair facility. He is the only guy who could work on my Seiko MM300 without sending it to Japan, so highly talented, yet won’t break the bank.
As for the crown being out, yep, most of my pictures are like this to place the hands in way to showcase all of the dials glory. (Weird WUS thing I guess).

The nearest watch to that look is one of the Mido Multifort models in stock trim. But as nice as that one is in appearence, that modded bezel Seiko SKX007 looks better.

someone on one of the watch forums regularly posts photos of his orange-on-black mido. totally agree with your assessment, it’s certainly nice-looking, but i prefer the seiko mod.

It is a Citizen Men’s BM8180-03E with the Nato band from Cheap Nato Straps for a whopping $5. I really love this combo. Not a huge watch and like the Eco Drive because even though I switch watches often, I don’t have to reset the time on this one like my automatics.
