KeymasterAnd now the new “Beater” watch.
[?IMG]
Casio “10 Year Battery” watch. Good reviews. On a velcro and elastic strap from Wal Mart. A bit smaller than I am used to, but I prefer the analog to the digital of my older beater (G-shock tough solar atomic.)December 12, 2025 at 6:05 am #129095admin
KeymasterI’m wearing this, the only change I’ve made is replacing the leather (carbon fiber looking) watchband to a Black Nato band. It was about $50 after tax. I love this thing. I’ve always wanted to venture back into the expensive watch world. But can’t stop buying Timex watches.

[?IMG]Wengers are underrated, IMHO. Until I switched over to a Mudman, I wore my first for four years and my second for two as my work watch and they took a serious beating but kept great time. The case and crystal will show some wear, but they keep on keepin’ on. I switched over to a G-shock for work mainly because of the alarm and timer functions, but I still wear my Wenger Brigade for things like yard work or any situation (night fishing, hiking, camping…etc.) where I will be using bug spray, which as we know from another thread is bad for resin.
That is a nice watch and I’m sure you will get many years of service out of it.

KeymasterOut of the 17 or so G-Shocks I own I’m wearing my all time favorite today, the G9300-1 Mudman.
[?IMG]Edit: Also, right hand to god, I havent set the time on this in over 6 months and it is still spot on with my atomics after they sync. I’ve never had a quartz watch with that kind of accuracy. My other 9300 (G9300ER-5) doesn’t even come close. And for those curious this one was made in the “Japan Y” factory.December 12, 2025 at 6:06 am #129108admin

I have a similar watch. Be careful with the glow pip on the bezel. Mine came off pretty easily. Otherwise, it’s a great watch.Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

KeymasterCasio PRG-50 Pathfinder: Solar powered so I never have to worry about battery power. This baby made it through two Iraq deployments and measured the 132 degree temp pretty accurately.
