KeymasterNexus 4 is on the way. Will be my first smartphone.
This will likely make me start to actually carry my phone around instead of leaving it at home or in my car all day. Kind of bummed to have another thing in my pockets, but seems like it should be pretty neat.

KeymasterI have a Black iPhone 5(32gig) currently with a otterbox defender on it. They just came out with the lifeproof fre case so I ordered that as soon as I got the email it was available.

Keymasterpersonal phone – iPhone 4 32Gb. Didn’t bother upgrading to the 4s, may upgrade to whatever comes after the 5 (assuming Apple stick to rolling out an upgrade on an annual basis). I tend not to upgrade my phone all that often – if it works and does what I need, I figure I’m happy to live with whichever phone I’m currently using.
Work phone – Samsung Galaxy S3

KeymasterNokia 6310i
Got it in 2001, keep coming back to it time and again. For travelling I use a Nokia 2730 classic because it’s quad-band and 3G and looks quite cheap (lees likely to get robbed, I hope).

Keymasteris iPhone 5 lousy in any way?

KeymasterI love iPhone an have done forever but the iPhone 5 just doesn’t see the same animal. Don’t get me wrong, the phone is an upgrade from the 4 (negligible upgrade from 4s) but it has issues… For me at least.
My biggest annoyance is it feels crappy. I liked the heft of the previous models, this one feels like a toy.
I also worry about the quality of the thing, every so often the screen will show weird interference when the keyboard is up and after what two months of owning it and treating it ok (not babying it exactly but not abusing it at all) the external speaker has gone very tinny at the top end of the volume slider. Also the “chamfered edges” apple bangs on about are the easiest things to scratch.

KeymasterI’m using a totally rocking, state of the art, super high tech, Motorola Q. It’s wicked! Colour screen, cute little keyboard, it’s totally epic!
I’ve been using a really old, 2001 circa Samsung (don’t have it here, can’t recall the actual model) that was lame, but it more or less did what I needed it to. I could make and receive calls. But texting on it was really abysmal A friend had the Q in a drawer, never used. I just had to go down to the evil conglomerate I deal with to have it switched over to me. Light years better. One day I will not be poor, and I can afford something better. But I also like trying to resist getting led around by my nose by all the latest, greatest, faster, better stuff the makers and providers try to convince you you need. This works fine for me. I can make calls and texts, receive calls and texts, I can check emails, put stuff into a calendar. Meh, so I can’t download videos at blistering high speeds and play games on it. So what.
