KeymasterSamsung b2710 xcover – best phone I ever had. Tough as nail, waterproof, good flashlight, and almost indestructible – I should know, I have a 2 year old son 😉

KeymasterIt’s missing some of the things that I want in a BB, but it’s the first of a complete redesign, so there’ll be some break-in time while they tackle some bugs and get more API’s into developer’s hands. The hardware is pretty good and the new UI is a real winner. There’s a learning curve of course, but it takes maybe an hour to get the hang of it and after a week or so it’s second nature. Having had a PlayBook for quite a while, the whole gesture thing is quite comfortable. I’ve got iOS and Android devices in my “test collection” and this, for me, is a superior UI.
The Storm is a device that RIM never should have released… one of my co-workers had one for 2 years and it was really a POS. The Torch kinda made up for that, but the Storm will always be to RIM what Windows-ME was to M$ 🙂
Some Z10 users are complaining about poor battery life, but I pull mine off the charger at 6am every day and put it back on between 9pm and 10pm with 20-30% battery left. Not the 36+ hours I was getting from the 9810 and 9700, but acceptable. There have been a number of poorly written Android apps that ate battery like it was going out of style. I guess the Z10’s ability to run both native and android apps is a double edged sword… it embiggens the catalog of available apps, but so many ‘droid apps are written poorly that the catalog is really quite polluted with junk. On the bright side, there are nearly 275 different flashlight apps from which to choose 😀

KeymasterI had a Lumia 920 for a few months, I LOVED it so much! My only gripe was that indoor call quality was terrible, but I think it was my personal device.
I’m currently using a GSIII but switching to an HTC One when they release

I’m using a Samsung Galaxy Y, wich I bought because it was dirt cheap. I think i need a new one, I lost the back shield, so now its held together with duct tape. It works fine, but the ringing sound is almost inaudible without the back shield working as a sound box.September 24, 2025 at 8:56 am #22187admin
KeymasterI’m using the Samsung Stratosphere and if smartphones weren’t so expensive I would’ve thrown this thing down a cliff a year ago.
