So I was in a sporting goods chain and saw they had the ‘Leatherman Wave Kit’ for sale for $89.99….the Wave, A nylon sheath with stretchy inserts/pockets on either side and the double bit set….it also was apparently supposed to include the Leatherman P3 Lenser flashlight/penlight. So they marked it down to $69.95 since the light was missing.
I called Leatherman and they said they didn’t know which light comes with, but I could buy a P3 (tried to add the URL here, but the Leatherman domain is apparently not allowed as a link). They also mailed me a pocket clip and O-ring attachment for free which was nice.
So my question is…if I want a pen light to carry in the little stretchy tube on the nylon Wave sheath, which one should I buy? The Leatherman P3? Or another? I have a Sidekcik with the same sheath too so same question applies I suppose. (Note I have lots of EDC and other light already from Fenix and others….I just wonder what to add to this occasional scenario.)
