It’s gonna be tiny, and ALL flood and no throw. Limited for some, but should be great for my daily (indoor, up close, photo) tasks. Also found some very nice pics of it as a night-walk light – it’s giant flood is gonna be great for trick-or-treating with a zig-zaggy little one.

Several more incoming but one arrived today, a BlackShadow EVA. I’m trying to round out my AAA and AA light collection. This one looks interesting. Great looks and single mode. Should be great for gifting. I also picked it up for only $15 because illumination supply has 25% off their Black Shadows.

Click to expand…You totally should! Ok….maybe don’t dump your collection, just get some copper lights. Their character grows on you as the patina does.
I was originally going to get an Olight M10 but I changed my mind and decided that I might prefer the S10 due to its small size. I asked for it for Father’s Day. 🙂
Looking for a Surefire Fury and thinking about picking up a ProTac 2L since I like the 1L I got the other day so much

Click to expand…You can find my review here. I personally think this light is a gem, and I’ve even seen it for around 12 bucks. The EVA should probably be getting more respect than it is.

Click to expand…great, straight to the point review! I hate when a review can get weighed down by all the super in-depth tech specs and what not. I don’t mean to say that all that info is irrelevant or useless, it’s just most times I just want a quick run down on specs, materials, etc. I can sometimes get lost and uninterested once it gets past a certain point. thanks for the link and your time and effort.

aloha!Thanks! I figure there’s lot of other super technical reviewers out there. Plus, I think people get too wrapped up in the specs. Most of these lights have the same emitters anyway. Take a handful of XP-G lights and there’s probably a few lumen difference across the whole line. I do appreciate some good run times, though, and I try to focus on what all these specs mean in the real world. I want something useful, not a data sheet 🙂
Just ordered a Hi-CRI Haiku head to go with the Mule I ordered. I figure I will spend some EDC time with both and decide if I should get another body, sell one of the heads, or just swap for the correct use.
I got my quantum dd today ! I guess I never realized looking in here how small it was this thing is tiny but insanely bright for the size ! Now if only my trit vials would come in
