Whats the best way to remove rust from a leatherman micra?.

I just picked up a leatherman micra the other day. It has a little rust on the face of the scissors by the pivot and some inside the handles. I thought of steel wool, but I dont think I can get it down in there to remove it all.
IS there some type of liquid that would work?. Or any other options?.
