Ok, I know this is the apex of nit picking, but I had a gnarley cut on the bottom of my foot a few months ago and used the Johnson and Johnson ones that came with our household FAK. As per their usual behavior, I found myself changing bandages once and twice a day due to their lack of stick-to-it-ness. A few weeks ago my fiancee got a cut on her foot over at a friend’s house. Our friend, who is a nurse, used a Nexcare bandage on her foot. Surprisingly it never came off or slipped in the three days she had it on. When she took it off to reapply Neosporin the wound looked as if it had almost healed. She replaced it with another bandage from around the house (some generic one or another) and that stayed on well also. I’m now in the process of replacing all of my band-aids with the Nexcare versions.
Does anyone have similar experiences with these? I generally like Curad more than J&J (better seal, stronger adhesive) but the Nexcares knock them both out of the water! What do you guys think?
