Hi,
I’ve bought an Osprey Quasar 28 and while it is a good bag there are some things that I kinda dislike. Mainly the absence of MOLLE (which I knew about of course but which I miss more than I believed I would) and also the bottle holders that I’ve been looking forward to but which I find a bit too loose to my liking (the compression straps are loosening itself when I insert my Nalgene 1L).
REQUIREMENT:
– two-shoulder backpack
– a bag similar-sized as the Osprey Quasar (around 25 litres, say 20-30 litres)
– an urban (85%) and walking in woods (15%) bag
– EDC = always some pens, IFAK, knife, flashlight, tool pouch (Maxped Mini), keys, this kind of mess … and then sometimes
+ school things (A4-size notepads, some books, perhaps sometimes a smallish <=14″ laptop) when going to school
+ some food and stuff like hat, gloves, shemagh when going out for a walk
+ perhaps some hygiene tools when sleeping over somewhere
– MOLLE webbing (the more the merrier lol), I prefer classic MOLLE over laser-cut MOLLE but can live with either
– at least two compartments = larger main compartment and at least one more compartment with admin panel (one more flat compartment for stuff like wallet would be great).
– either a VERY good bottle holder on at least one side or a lot of MOLLE (again lol) so I could attach the One Tigris MOLLE Bottle Holder (https://www.amazon.de/OneTigris-Trinkflasche-Flaschentasche-Wasserkocher-Khaki-neue/dp/B00ZWSZ14A/ref=wl_mb_wl_huc_clickstream_2_dp?th=1)
– price not higher than USD100, perhaps 120 – it’s not much but things are more expensive here in CZE – and I don’t want to be having some 200+ bucks bag just lying somewhere around some camp to be snatched lolA few notes:

– I know I did not include Maxpedition, SOG, Camelbak in the poll but their stuff is terribly expensive here.
– Some brands like Vanquest, Mystery Ranch, Fieldline and many other mainly-US/Western brands are nearly impossible to get here …Thanks in advance and for other options …
Right now, my favourite is the Wisport Sparrow 20 with the OneTigris bottle holder. I got inspired by this guy. Thank you!
