KeymasterOk, perhaps this should be in Bags, although that appears to be more for larger EDC items.
Searching for a new large FAK bag after the zip on my old Subaru Rally Team one busted (thanks Possum, RIP). Want something that has fold out panels on it for flat dressings, decent zippers and material. MOLLE compatible is useful, although not required. Its for storage in the truck, so it doesnt have to be backback EDCable.
There are a ton out there, and heaps almost fit my requirements. Like the 5.11 6.6 has no fold out wings, but has the rest. Condor has wings, but is by all reports pretty shoddily made.
Thoughts on a bag?

My wife is a doctor so we have a small drug kit in there too, plus the IV cannulation stuff/intubation after we came across a single rollover where the lady had a punctured lung and was unconscious.
Also since i posted im now considering the Condor Rip Away EMT Pouch which apparently is better made than their other Medical bag.December 3, 2025 at 11:14 am #124725admin
KeymasterHave you tried any of the EMS companies? I personally have in my truck a Iron Duck EMS bag very similar to what we carried on the ambulances.

KeymasterI have an Omni-Meret pro and it would fit all of that in it pretty easily.

Hahahaha, i hadnt seen that ad in years, classic one.I had a look at Iron Duck after the recommendation, but most of their bags i think are geared at a fuller kit. Will keep looking through their stuff though.
The Conterra gear is good, the IV kit bag is what we have for the IV lines, only its been rebranded under another company.

KeymasterI have owned the Condor Rip Away EMT Pouch for a while now and really like it. You never know what’s going to happen…so I carry decent FAK with me in my EDC bag. 🙂

KeymasterNice. I really like the trifold design of the Condor bag. I wouldn’t mind having that, lol.
