I don’t know about you but sometimes I go to get my knife out of my drawer and I can’t seem to decide which one to carry because I have so many choices. Don’t get me wrong, I have my favorites like my Delica 4, Spyderco Tenacious, but I literally have a dozen plus knives to choose from, and that’s after weeding out and selling the ones I don’t use.
IMO each knife might be capable of various tasks, but due to design or blade type that scope is narrower in purpose. I carry knives for backup defensive purposes and they will never cut anything until called upon, then I have knives used for cutting tasks that aren’t well suited for defense. I have fixed blades but don’t carry them often (except for smaller ones) except when I go hiking or to the woods. There are so many possibilities.
Does anyone else feel conflicted when they go to pick out which knife to use for the day?
