.22 are getting easier to find.
They have been, but look for that to change around the end of the year and only get worse next year.December 25, 2025 at 4:25 pm #142368admin

KeymasterElection year coming up with some very concerning names as candidates. Lame duck anti-gun president’s last year in office. Ammunition companies have shown a reluctance to add manufacturing capacity.
A lot of people will wait until late next year to start panic buying. Some won’t.
Some of us never stop buying.

KeymasterIn Pennsylvania (US) .22LR has become easy to get. I buy bricks all the time at the gun shop in Chadds Ford…tactical high-velocity for my S&W AR-15 .22

KeymasterIf got 3 calibers in guns, .22, .357/.38 and 12 gauge, well 4 if you count .22 magnum(Ruger pistol). Try to keep it simple so don’t need so many different bullets.

Cool idea. Personally, I’d pick 9mm, .223/5.56, and 12ga, plus .300blk if I decide to get a stamp.December 25, 2025 at 4:26 pm #142374admin
KeymasterEveryone should have at least one 22 and 22 magnum.
Marlin Model 783 – 22 magnum
Marlin Model 60 22 autoloader

To me and this just my opinion not a personal attack on anyone, 9mm is too small and I would like a .308/7.62 over a .223/5.56 but I’m old school. Plus my FIL gave me my first .357 S&W revolver and I lean that way.I was in basic when they changed from the M14 to the M16 which we called the Mattel toy.

Yeah. I have my grandfather’s .38 special. Gonna hold on to that one. But, I believe the science and the advantages of modern bullets. If I was shooting fmj defensively, I’d think exactly as you do.

Last I heard, could have changed recently.December 25, 2025 at 4:27 pm #142380admin
KeymasterI love my .22’s and love them even more now that I regularly find ammo locally at decent prices.

We the US did not sign it if I remember correctly, we just chose to be good and use only ball ammo. -
