Ok, I’ll be the first to admit that I am uneducated when it comes to lighters, and specifically zippos. I am not a smoker, and don’t plan to be, but am interested in learning more about zippos and the like because I love the look and I think it’d be nice to have something windproof for starting my propane space heater for ice fishing. (the long spout cheap plastic ones don’t like to start well in the cold) I keep a few cheap bic lighters around for general utility, but would like to look at getting a zippo. What do I need to know? I know that owning and operating them is different than something like a cheap bic lighter, but I don’t know what all goes into it. Can someone explain it to me?
