Floodlight For Heavy Duty?

I’m shopping for a nice, tuff, substantial flashlight — not a lamp — for heavy duty around the house, garage and car. (Meaning I will buy two more if I like the first.)

I want something pretty large: not huge but bigger than the typical pocket EDC; something heavy with weight and big enough so that it won’t get lost easily. (“Heavy is good. Heavy is reliable. If it doesn’t work, you can hit him with it.” -Boris the Blade from the movie “Snatch.”)

I am looking for something that will flood pitch-black dark: light up a bedroom, under the hood of a car, etc. I assume this means I need LED but I’m not as wise as you all.

Lastly, I want something powered by lithium batteries for the long haul.

I’ve got a couple in mind but I don’t want to lead the witness.
