I know this is problem a ridiculous question, but do you know any realistic way to convert a CR123A light to Li-Ion rechargeable? I guess my issue is I’m trying to have my cake and eat it too. I use a lot of light as part of my job. I have a couple lithium driven lights, but I’m spending a fortune on batts. I also have a decent Inova T4 rechargeable, but the issue is it just doesn’t put out with I need. Dual-brightness would be nice, but that’s a little too much to ask for…besides I carry a back-up light anyway. I need something rechargeable that’s not huge (i.e. same size as a stinger or typical surefire is ok), but also needs to be capable of at least 120 lumens of usable light. Incandescent would be ok, as I already have a few LEDs I can get by with. Ideally, I’d like to get a good Surefire. I really like the 6P, the A2, and the L series, mostly because of size
utput ratio, but I really do think I would spend a fortune of batteries with such short runtimes. There are times when I’m out at a scene where I need at least 1 1/2-2 hours of maximum output, especially during a lengthy extrication or search. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks.
