KeymasterI have heard both pros and cons for it. It updated on my IPad2 and I am not to fond of the pastel frilly colors. Give it to me hard baby!!! 🙂 My IT department has told us to hold off on downloading it to our devices at work due to the incompatibilities it has with Outlook and other priority software items… So, I have not put it on the 4S yet.. I am still playing with it on the IPad and not sure if I like it fully yet. Again, why pastel frilly colors? Ugh!…

KeymasterI’m not sure we really disagree. There’s a fine line between not giving the user enough information to know what to do and giving too much and drowning out the relevant details. Apple is a lot closer to being perfectly on that line with iOS7, but I think they stepped over it *just* a little.
Settings, General, Accessibility, Reduce MotionFebruary 5, 2026 at 11:10 am #151684admin
KeymasterSettings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion (On/Off). It’s a bizarre place to put the setting.
Yeah. I’m not real happy with the Calendar either. For example, I couldn’t figure out how to get back to Agenda (event list) mode. You tap the Search icon. That’s about as intuitive as dragging a floppy disk to the trashcan to eject it under MacOS.February 5, 2026 at 11:10 am #151685admin
KeymasterTo allegedly save power you wan it on so that background wallpaper stops moving.

KeymasterAh…I get it now. Kinda like that though…makes it look like a new phone. In fact, I’m very happy with this update. It is like I got a new phone. I recently got a Galaxy 3 for work and this update make the iPhone a lot more interesting to me than it was.

KeymasterOh, I agree with you. I don’t mind the movement myself. Also just discovered that when in safari you can swipe the page from left to right and go back instead of trying to get the arrow to appear.

KeymasterLike when you’re browsing the Forum? Mine doesn’t swipe left to right or right to left(on this page)
I like the double tap on the home button…it shows what apps are running, while showing what their pages are showing. Easy to switch between apps without having to got to the home screen, find the app in all of the other apps, then click on it. Just a double click of the Home button, and swipe left to right to select/click on the open app you want to switch to.
A simple swipe up closes it out…no more holding until the “X: appears then clicking that.I’m not sure what you mean about swiping left to right on Safari though

KeymasterI’ll have to check my ipad, but it works on the phone.

KeymasterI love the new iOS. Not crazy about a few of the icon designs, and the animations can be a bit much at times. But I otherwise love it.

KeymasterAh, I don’t use Safari on the iPhone, but tapatalk.

KeymasterI updated 2 iPhone 4S two ipad 2 and an ipad 3. Yes we have issues here lol. All worked fine except my daughters ipad 2 that I have been fighting on and off with since yesterday. The only bright point is it randomly makes Hannah Montana sound all a Death Metal. Makes me laugh…….. My daughter not so much. Looks like I will have to restore to factory and start from scratch with it.

KeymasterI downloaded the day it came out. I like the quick access to calculator and Bluetooth through the control center. Not quite the dazzle I was hoping for though.

KeymasterI like it. Plenty of sites you can find online detailing what’s new. I read a couple of reviews and decided to give it a try. Other than being a bit bright (calendar and notes with white backgrounds), it has some nice changes such as enhanced camera functions. Control center is very handy. I also like many of the new sounds. I’m easy to please.

KeymasterIve had it for a couple of days its not bad but jury is still out, looks more modern, some icons look tacky. I am not sure if this is the right explanation but some of it looks cheap.

KeymasterI have still held off on the update but having been messing with my gf’s updated iPhone 5. The calendar is a def no go for me. I use mine way to much with work, court, son activities, daily planning, etc. and the battery run time is a downer. She has it plugged in almost all the time now and it drains super quick.
