Was it just the screen that was damaged? or LCD as well? If just the screen, may be worth it getting replaced

I feel for you i dropped my iphone 5 about 3 months ago not only did i drop it i kicked it across the room into a brick wall, totally wrecked (not fixable). i only had it a couple of days. went to apple store and they just replaced it, with no problems. I wasnt expecting that. so I am still a happy apple customer
