I just got my Scrapyard Dogfather bowie and the thing is amazing. It is my second Scrapyard knife, my other one is my SS4 EDC which has permantly replaced a folder as my daily carry. The DF with it’s huge 10 inch long ,2inch wide and a full 1 quarter inch thick blade is techincally legal to carry in canada but is a bit to big. It is made of modified S7 steel.
It has a bit more cromium and carbon than regular S7 which is a quality tool steel known for it’s toughness and used in jackhammer blades. Scrapyard uses a exellent 40 or 80 hour
( forget which) heat treatment procces. I got mine with the optional nylon sheath which added 20$ to the 139.00$ price of the Bowie. This is incredibly cheap for a bowie of this calibre. The Busse FBMCG is almost 500$ and Jerry Busse has himself said that the DH has 95% of the performance of the FBMCG. Dan Busse the owner of Scrapyard is Jerrys brother and he and his wife Patti are incredible to deal with.
Here are some pics of the DF

The Dogfather and all Scrapers make great project knives. Here are a couple.
This one has just had the coating stripped off

I plan to mod my DF with a sharpened back clip which all bowies should have.
