The adjustable beam is EXCELLENT, you do however get a ring affect in between max spot and max flood modes, its not bad though, not all, and in both max modes the beam has little to no artifacts or ring affects. Let me tell you 1000lm on flood mode I can see the entire back yard, on spot mode it had a very nice hot spot with very little spill. Its not a total thrower specs say 300 meters that seems about right as it doesn’t reach out like my TK32, over all I am very happy with it, I would have left out the tripod mount but I bet a few people use them. Overall construction and fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from Fenix, out standing, square cut threads, clean circuit board etc, o-rings and spares etc… It is a great light hands down, no major issues at all I am very happy with it.

Must also say I LOVE the Maratac, fantastic quality
As much as I like my Surefire 6PX, I’d prefer something smaller for everyday use. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a Surefire Titan today. Should be here next week.

I like it and it’s crazy powerful. But I found I had no real use for it, so I recently put it up for sale in the BST section as part of my massive gear purge.
