Went out shoveling snow with my daughter a few weeks ago and decided we needed at least one more good solid headlamp. Ordered a Thrunite TH10 that should be here Monday. That will get added to my Nitecore HC50 and Fenix HL50, after that I think we need at least one more, 3 very different headlamps, leaning towards the Fenix for it’s versatility.

Click to expand…I had a Flute with 4 yellow and 3 blue trits and traded it for a Ottavino Damascus 10280 last week.
I’m very glad I made the trade but I missed the Flute too.
It was my only AA battery flashlight.
Then this came up and I knew it was meant to be. 🙂

Two Thrunite TN4A’…one in neutral white, and the other in cool white. I haven’t upgraded my house flashlights since the days of incandescent MAG lights. I’ve just been using my pocket EDC lights, but recently thought it would be neat to try out one of the 4AA 1000+ lumen “search lights”.
When I was looking at buying a Flashlight I read and saw video on the Thrunite Ti5, and it looks awesome, But one said the Ti3 has the standing tail cap. More of depends on what you want to get, I rarely stand my flashlight up and have a cheaper Walmart “Room” type flashlight for that. (power outage) I carry a G2X for EDC and it stays in a pocket at all times, but w/CR123 batteries getting pricey I was looking at the Thrunute and the microstream and opted for the microstream after all. I like the idea of clip and tail cap clicky. (I like an easier on/off as opposed to twisting it on. Check out some video’s on it. My last AAA flashlight was a solitair non led. so everything’s an improvement lol
